Baked Herbal Chicken

It is a very easy delicious and mouthwatering recipe, which all old family members and young children will like.

Ingredients:

Chicken: 1 (cut into 8 pieces) without skin

Ginger paste: 1 Tablespoonful

Garlic Paste: 1Tablespoonful

Black pepper: 1 Teaspoonful

Salt: 1 Teaspoonful

White Pepper: 1 Teaspoonful

Thyme Powder: 1 Teaspoonful

Basil Leaves powder: 1 Teaspoonful

Lemon Juice: 2 Tablespoonful

Vegetable oil: 1 Tablespoonful

Egg: 1

Cornflakes: 2 cup crushed enough to make 1 cup

How to cook?

  • Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly; make one inch cuts at about ½ inch distance.
  • Marinate chicken pieces with all spices and keep them in fridge for more than 2 hours (the long it stays marinated, the better it tastes)
  • Take a baking pan, spread an aluminium foil over it and grease it with oil.
  • Preheat oven at 350 degree for 10 mins.
  • Now cover all chicken pieces with beaten egg.
  • Take cornflakes in a food storage bag now put chicken pieces in it to cover with cornflakes completely.
  • Keep chicken for baking for 40-50 mins or until chicken tender.
  • Turn chicken upside down after 15 mins.
  • Serve it with green chutney or ketchup.

Preparation time:

Work: 15 mins

Oven: 50 mins

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins
